Reasons to homeschool
While each family's reasons may be different, there are certainly common themes driving their decision. Many parents see the popular culture, public education, and society at large all seemingly competing in a race to the bottom. They are watching children suffer plummeting educational outcomes, internet brain-rot, social isolation, ideological indoctrination, gender wars, doomsday climate anxiety and myriad of mental health crises.
However, it’s not all bad news. In this environment, homeschooling is rapidly emerging as a “Benedict option” for parents who are not content with letting their children follow the crowd off the proverbial cliff. If properly and carefully utilized, the internet, AI, and remote working freedom can be harnessed to give your children the best educational experience in history, while also allowing families to pass forward values that are important to them.

1/ Should I homeschool?
Explore parental concerns and whether homeschooling is the right solution for meeting their children's needs.
2/ Can I homeschool?
Does the family have the time, energy, willingness, and resources necessary to homeschool effectively?
3/ How do I homeschool?
How to build the right homeschooling program for the family's goals and values.
Reasons to homeschool
Here are some of the common reasons that families may consider homeschooling their children. The importance of each reason may vary from family to family, their goals, values, and unique needs. 01
Better academic outcomes
With nearly 73% of homeschooling parents citing concerns about poor academic standards in public schools, and an ongoing negative trend in academic performance since the 1970s, homeschooling can allow the family to give their children a better learning experience, and better life outcomes.
02
More natural & effective learning experience for children
Many families feel that their children are better served by a more natural way of learning, embracing play and their natural curiosity, instead of a factory-style model that emphasizes obedience, rote memorization, and test taking.

03
Avoiding indoctrination
Homeschooling allows families to avoid what many see as forced indoctrination of their children, by the public education system that has been infiltrated by political activism. Instead of fighting a losing battle again these negative influences, families can focus on learning, cultivate healthy family bonds, and pass forward their family's values to their children.
04
Improved mental health
By skipping bullying, factory learning, lack of physical exercise, and ideological conditioning, it's no surprise that homeschooled students in functioning families report a higher degree of satisfaction and adjustment than their public schooled peers.

05
Individualized learning
The "one size fits all" factory school approach ignores the unique interests, traits, and abilities of each child. Homeschooling allows a family to provide an experience uniquely suited to their child's needs, maximizing their well-being, keeping learning fun, and improving their outcomes.
06
Gifted students can thrive, instead of being stunted
Standardized education with a mis-applied emphasis on equity of academic outcome is known to stunt the potential of gifted students (especially those known as "twice exceptional"), ultimately destroying their very will to learn. Homeschooling can allow your child to unlock their full potential, whatever it may be.

07
Special needs students can get their needs met
No-one loves their child as much as the parents. Students with special needs require more patience, and more specialized resources, than a school is often able or willing to provide. A homeschooling program can give the child what they need to succeed, with love, and without crushing their confidence in the process.
08
A healthier lifestyle
A homeschooling program can provide excellent learning outcomes without the forced sedentary, indoor factory school experience. Instead, it has the potential to deliver learning in the context of a multi-faceted active, outdoor, and health focused lifestyle.

09
A richer education
Studies show that many of the standard state educational requirements can be met with just several hours of learning a day. This can allow homeschooling families to offer their children a richer educational experience, pursuing additional interests, life skills, offering a more engaging experience overall.
10
Preserving and strengthening family values
Families can preserve and pass long their values to their children, without contending with competing ideologies pushed in the public schools. In a homeschool program, parents can foster resiliency, morals, and lifestyle choices as they see fit.
